Other officers are Vice President Jason Harris of Weyerhauser; Treasurer Fernand Genre of Hannis T. Bourgeois LLP; and Secretary Cindy Wale of Capital One Bank.

Ken Culpepper is the new director of regulatory affairs for Cox Communications, with responsibility for the Cox systems in Louisiana and Florida, including the Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans markets. He will be based in Baton Rouge.

Steven C. Davison has been hired as senior producer at Digital FX, a Baton Rouge-based film and television post-production studio. Davison began his career in 1970 with a local television station rising from the floor crew to senior director of film and video production. He built his own production company before joining the Washington D.C. consulting firm of Strother/Duffy/Strother.

Carolyn T. Doerle of Doerle Food Service in Broussard has received the Enterprising Women of the Year Award from Enterprising Women magazine. She was recognized in March at a three-day tribute in Florida. Winners are selected for their fast-growth business, mentoring activity and community leadership. Doerle was honored among those firms with more than $25 million in annual sales.

Peter Link, senior vice president of Whitney Bank, is again chairman of the St. Tammany Development District, which oversees the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation. Whitney Bank Senior Vice President John Smith of Slidell was named vice chairman, and retired Hancock Bank Senior Vice President Dave Anderson is the organization’s treasurer.

Marty Mayer, president and CEO of Stirling Properties, is the new chairman of the board for Greater New Orleans Inc. He is the first Northshore resident to serve in the top spot. Mayer has been involved with the organization for four years, serving as chairman elect last year.

Riley Winchester is now a shareholder in Ross & Yerger insurance agency. He joined the firm in 2004 and has become one of its top producers. He was instrumental in opening the company’s office in Baton Rouge, where he continues to serve clients in Louisiana and South Mississippi.
