Mary Broussard, Entergy customer service manager, has been elected president of the Livingston Economic Development Council’s Board of Directors. Other officers are Vice President Jason Harris of Weyerhauser; Treasurer Fernand Genre of Hannis T. Bourgeois LLP; and Secretary Cindy Wale of Capital One Bank.

Toni Carruth is the new marketing director for Gulf States Real Estate Services. She previously was the marketing director for a Fortune 500 homebuilder and opened a new division, marketing for Choice Title.

Ken Culpepper is the new director of regulatory affairs for Cox Communications, with responsibility for the Cox systems in Louisiana and Florida, including the Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans markets. He will be based in Baton Rouge.

Steven C. Davison has been hired as senior producer at Digital FX, a Baton Rouge-based film and television post-production studio. Davison began his career in 1970 with a local television station rising from the floor crew to senior director of film and video production. He built his own production company before joining the Washington D.C. consulting firm of Strother/Duffy/Strother.

Carolyn T. Doerle of Doerle Food Service in Broussard has received the Enterprising Women of the Year Award from Enterprising Women magazine. She was recognized in March at a three-day tribute in Florida. Winners are selected for their fast-growth business, mentoring activity and community leadership. Doerle was honored among those firms with more than $25 million in annual sales.

Richard G. Fishman has been promoted to vice president, treasurer and chief tax counsel at Albemarle Corp. In his new role, Fishman will have added responsibility for the company’s global treasury strategy including cash management, financial risk management and foreign exchange and credit oversight.

Peter Gale is the new senior vice president of insurance for Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corp. He brings 23 years of commercial insurance experience with such companies as AIG.

Bart Gomez has joined North Oaks as Environmental Services Director. Gomez will focus solely on the cleanliness of North Oaks-owned and -operated facilities.

Peter Link, senior vice president of Whitney Bank, is again chairman of the St. Tammany Development District, which oversees the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation. Whitney Bank Senior Vice President John Smith of Slidell was named vice chairman, and retired Hancock Bank Senior Vice President Dave Anderson is the organization’s treasurer.

Marty Mayer, president and CEO of Stirling Properties, is the new chairman of the board for Greater New Orleans Inc. He is the first Northshore resident to serve in the top spot. Mayer has been involved with the organization for four years, serving as chairman elect last year.

Phillip Thomas Mitchell will take the lead as general manager of Knight Manufacturing. Mitchell will manage Knight’s manufacturing division and focus on developing its workforce.

Jenifer Navard and Kurt Hagstette have been named associate directors at the New Orleans architecture firm Eskew+Dumez+Ripple. Navard is the company’s CFO and Hagstette is an architect.

Tara Richard was one of two finalists for the American Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer. The award is presented annually to recognize professional excellence, service to the profession and community and a reputation for advancing legal ethics and professional responsibility.

Kyle Waters is the new president of Omni Bank. Watson brings more than 35 years of banking experience with Hibernia/Capitol One.Previously as Capital One Southern Banking president, he led a team of more than 2,500 bankers in five Louisiana regions and 165 branches representing more than $15 billion in deposits and $7 billion in loans.

Riley Winchester is now a shareholder in Ross & Yerger insurance agency. He joined the firm in 2004 and has become one of its top producers. He was instrumental in opening the company’s office in Baton Rouge, where he continues to serve clients in Louisiana and South Mississippi.
